Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy is a client-centred health profession which focuses on enabling people  to participate in everyday activities they either want to do, or need to do, but may have a physical, mental or developmental condition which limits their ability to do so.  Occupational Therapists achieve these outcomes by working with the strengths and skills of each individual, and then modifying the occupation or environment to achieve the most realistic and optimal level of engagement.
Occupational Therapists work with all age groups and in a wide range of physical and psychological areas/environments.
